Mixing Engineer & Audio Producer
I'm a hip hop and R&B producer, mixing engineer, and vocal recording specialist creating polished, contemporary sounds that blend technical precision with artistic vision. Working across Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and Logic Pro, I bring versatility to every stage of production — from beat creation and arrangement to vocal tracking and final mix.
My approach centers on capturing authentic performances while crafting sonically rich productions that meet today's industry standards. I specialize in sample-based beat production, building full songs from the ground up, and creating immersive soundscapes across melodic trap, neo-soul, and alternative R&B.
I excel in sample-based beat production, transforming raw samples into cohesive, emotionally resonant instrumentals that blend nostalgia with contemporary edge. My strength lies in creating full songs from the ground up — handling every element from initial concept and beat construction through vocal production and final mix to deliver complete, release-ready tracks.
My sonic palette gravitates toward melodic trap, neo-soul, and alternative R&B, where I craft atmospheric, layered productions that balance hard-hitting rhythm with melodic depth and soul.
I work fluidly across Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and Logic Pro — leveraging each platform's strengths to maximize creative and technical results. My hardware chain features dual Universal Audio Apollo X6 interfaces with a world-class outboard processing suite including Distressor EL8-X, Smart Research C1, Chandler Limited Germanium Compressor, Heritage Audio BritStrips, and Lexicon MX200.
My plugin arsenal spans FabFilter, Soundtoys, UAD, SSL, Valhalla, Eventide, Antares, Melodyne, and iZotope — covering everything from surgical dynamics to spatial design and vocal refinement.
It started with E. 1999 Eternal. I was 12 years old when Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's masterpiece rewired how I heard music. Summer of 2000, I figured out how to make it: an old tower PC, FL Studio 2, and headphones from a portable CD player.
I studied the architects — Bangladesh, Dr. Dre, The Neptunes, Mannie Fresh, Just Blaze. Their innovation became my curriculum. From that bedroom setup to the professional studio I own today, the obsession that started with a 12-year-old kid pressing play remains the foundation of everything I create.
Every mix starts with comprehensive gain staging across all elements — establishing proper levels before any processing ensures headroom and prevents unnecessary makeup gain. From there, I apply corrective and creative EQ, address frequency imbalances, and carve space for each element to exist without competition. Bus processing and parallel techniques add weight without sacrificing dynamics.
In hip hop and R&B, the low end is sacred. My approach centers on frequency clarity — meticulously EQ'ing competing elements to eliminate unwanted low frequencies, ensuring the kick and bass occupy their space without muddiness or masking. This subtractive approach creates powerful, focused low end that translates across all playback systems.
My vocal chain follows a disciplined signal path: corrective EQ first to address problem frequencies and enhance presence, followed by compression for consistency and control, then de-essing to tame harsh sibilance. Auto-Tune is applied only when requested or when pitch correction serves the creative vision — never as a default.
I maintain a clear separation between production and mixing, treating each as its own distinct phase with focused attention. My workflow is methodical and genre-informed — typically beginning with drums as the rhythmic foundation, layering in instruments, and finally integrating vocals to complete the sonic picture.
